Drain
- Remove the front aero shield panel. See Panel - Aero
Shield - Front (Remove and Replace).
- Release the grey locking tab, and then press down on
the tab to disconnect the oil pump connector.
- Position an oil drain container underneath the front
drive unit oil filter.
- Use an oil filter socket to remove the front drive
unit oil filter.
- Install the oil drain adapter on the front drive
unit oil filter housing.
- Connect the fluid evacuator tube to the oil drain
adapter, and then place the other end of the tube in the
oil drain container.
- Connect the oil pump switchbox and XP-10 jump pack
to the front drive unit oil pump.
- Press and hold the button on the oil pump switchbox
until oil stops pumping out.
- Wait 60 seconds, and then once again press and hold
the button on the oil pump switchbox until oil stops
pumping out.
- Disconnect the oil pump switchbox and XP-10 jump
pack from the front drive unit oil pump.
- Disconnect the fluid evacuator tube from the oil
drain adapter.
- Remove the oil drain adapter from the front drive
unit oil filter housing.
Caution: If the oil drain adapter o-ring seal transferred
to the front drive unit oil filter housing,
place the seal back on the oil drain adapter.
- Apply a light coat of ATF-9 to the o-ring seal on a
new oil filter, and then install the filter on the front
drive unit oil filter housing.
Torque 3 Nm + 135 degrees

Remove
Remove the front fascia assembly. See
Fascia - Front (Remove and Install).
Disconnect the connector from the battery backed siren.
Remove the bolt that attaches the battery backed siren to the front end
carrier, and then remove the siren from the vehicle.
Torque 12 Nm
