Tesla Model 3: Bracket - Crash Can - LH (Remove and Replace)

SPECIAL TOOLS
Skt, 3/8in Dr, XZN M14, Tri-Square (1133185-00-A)
Remove
- Remove the front end carrier.
- Remove the bolts that attach the LH crash can bracket to the front
subframe, and remove the bracket from the subframe.
Torque
53 Nm
Install
Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

Remove
Raise and support the vehicle.
Remove the rear underhood apron.
Remove the cabin intake duct.
Remove the hood latch cover.
Remove the underhood storage unit.
Remove the front fasc
Install the clips that attach the front end module electrical harness to
the front end carrier.
Install the hood latch.
Install the secondary hood latch actuator.
With an assistant, position

Install
Connect the LH headlight ECU connector, and then position the ECU onto
the headlight.
Note: Position the seal to the headlight ECU, if necessary.
Note: Align the electrical connector to the headlight ECU, and then
close the locking tab while pushing the connector into the headlight ECU
Remove
Remove the LH front door trim panel. See Panel - Door Trim - Front - LH
(Remove and Replace).
Disconnect the electrical connector from the front door speaker.
Remove the screws that attach the front door speaker to the door, and
then remove the speaker.
Torque 4 Nm
