Tesla Model 3: Switch - Window - Rear (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the LH rear door trim panel. See Panel - Door Trim - Rear - LH (Remove and Install).
  1. Release the clips that attach the rear window switch to the door trim panel.

  Tip: Release the front clips first, and then release the rear clips while pushing the rear window switch to release it from the door trim panel.

Note: Feed the electrical harness through the door trim panel hole to remove the electrical harness from the rear window switch.

Note: Replace any broken door panel clips

  1. Remove the rear window switch from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Install the electrical harness connector to the rear window switch.
  2. Secure the clips that attach the rear window switch to the door trim panel.
  3. Install the LH rear door trim panel. See Panel - Door Trim - Rear - LH (Remove and Install).
